Foote Forward Solutions is led by Keyonnia Foote, an experienced educator with over 20 years of dedication to teaching and educational leadership. As a former classroom teacher, reading specialist, and district curriculum coach, Keyonnia has a deep understanding of the challenges educators face and the strategies needed to overcome them.
Meet Kimberly Berry
Kimberly Berry, M.Ed., NBCT
Pre-K – 2nd Grade, Specialized in THE SCIENCE OF READING
Kimberly Berry is an accomplished educator with more than 25 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education. She is passionate about creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that inspire students to become confident readers, problem-solvers, and lifelong learners. Throughout her career, Ms. Berry has combined literacy, mathematics, science, technology, and engineering to provide students with meaningful opportunities to learn through exploration and discovery
Ms. Berry earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2001 and her Master of Education in Elementary Education with a Reading Certification K–12 from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2005. In May 2023, she earned a STEM Certification from Maryville University. She also holds certifications in Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 3), Reading (K–12), and STEM, and is a National Board Certified Teacher.
Ms. Berry is also an experienced presenter and professional learning leader. She has presented at the DESE STEM Interface Conference in 2023 and 2024, the Conference of the Young Years in 2024, and the National Science Teaching Association Conference in 2026. Through these opportunities, she shares innovative approaches for integrating STEM, literacy, and hands-on learning into elementary education.
Ms. Berry believes that every child has the ability to learn, create, and succeed when provided with meaningful opportunities, supportive relationships, and engaging learning experiences. Her goal is to make learning exciting and purposeful while helping students develop the skills, confidence, and curiosity they need to become successful learners and problem-solvers.
Foote Forward Solutions’ passion for literacy stems from their knowledge and experience with struggling readers. Foote Forward Solutions knows firsthand the frustration and self-doubt that can come with difficulty in reading. Through the support of dedicated educators and perseverance, Foote Forward Solutions has transformed that struggle into a deep love for literacy. Keyonnia’s personal journey ignited her commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the joy and empowerment that comes from becoming a confident reader.
